About Me

March 10th, 2006

I started off my Commodore life with a trusty C64, then in 1990 moved upto the Amiga 500, and was instantly hooked. This progressed to (my worst decision ever) buying an A1500+50MB HD, about 1 month before the 1200/4000 came out. I did eventually (after about 1 year) manage to buy an A1200.  Then I HAD to sell it all to get a PC for college in about 1995, a decision I regretted almost instantly.

Then back in 2003, I got another A1200 with a 500MB HD, but had to sell that for money. Then in 2005 I bought another A1200 and kitted it out with a 68030/50MHz, 32MB Fast RAM and a 850MB HD. I also got a PCMCIA network card to, so it can even use the Internet.

Most of that will mean nothing to the average person, but to an Amiga fan, they’ll understand.

I am a Mac fan now (have an 17-inch iMac G5), but the Amiga still holds a special place in my heart.

Sadly, being a Windows developer “pays the bills”.  But I love tinkering around with PHP/MySQL in my spare time and enjoy playing EVE online.
